We always recommend a cold, gentle hand wash for all swim pieces. Avoid bleach, and skip the washing machine and dryer—heat and tumbling can warp the fabric, fade the color, or shorten the life of your bikini. After washing, hang or lay flat to dry in the shade.
Keep in mind that chlorine and hot tubs can be harsh on swimwear. Over time, they may dull colors, weaken fibers, and reduce stretch. If you do take a dip in a pool or spa, rinse your bikini in cool, fresh water as soon as possible to help protect it.
For neon or pastel shades, adding a small pinch of salt to your wash can help keep the colors bright and vibrant.
Sunscreen is essential, but be mindful when applying formulas like tinted SPF or self-tanner, as they can leave marks on the fabric.
